A fairy tale you can wear -- Folklore is the celebration of the Arts & Crafts movement, and a nod to the beauty of “non-finito” (art that is a work-in-progress). The printed Bird of Peace comes from an original hand stitched work by fibre artist Kim Donohoe, who used single-ply thread to capture every detail of plumage. The background panels come from unfinished works created in 1885 by British artist William Morris, whose original pencil sketch lines can be seen where the designs remain incomplete. Market of stars left these in intentionally, to celebrate the profound beauty of the artistic process!
